The Environmental Impact Review Board (EIRB) will facilitate the NWT Administrative Law Course on March 17, 2025, in Inuvik.
The course will be delivered by John Donihee, an experienced northern lawyer and former EIRB Chair and EISC Board member. Mr. Donihee brings extensive expertise in northern administrative law, land claim regimes, and co-management board processes, with significant experience in both the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and Nunavut.
The session will focus on core administrative law principles, including procedural fairness, tribunal decision-making, and legal best practices relevant to regulatory and review bodies operating in the North.
This course reflects EIRB’s commitment to strengthening governance capacity and supporting informed, fair, and effective decision-making.
